The long slog of the February swing is finally over, and the ATP stars are ready to kick off the season in Dubai. The 31st edition of the ATP Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships will see the world’s top players take to the courts from February 27 until March 4, 2023.

The top eight seeds in the men’s singles draw at the ATP Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships are all within the top 20 rankings. They include five-time titlist Novak Djokovic, and Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Felix Auger Aliassime and Hubert Hurkacz.
Djokovic, who won his record-extending 10th Australian Open title last month, will be the overwhelming favorite to win the Dubai event in Dubai. His rivals for the title will likely be Daniil Medvedev, who re-entered the world’s top 10 following his Rotterdam win, and Andy Murray, who has made it to the final of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in his previous tournament.
WTA Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Preview
Seventeen of the world’s top 20 women’s singles players have entered the Dubai tournament. Three-time Grand Slam winner Iga Swiatek, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka and USA’s Jessica Pegula are all in the field at this year’s ATP 500 tournament in Dubai.
Iga Swiatek will be looking to make it back to the final of an ATP 500 event for the first time since her win at the 2017 US Open, while Coco Gauff will aim to make it to her third semi-final at WTA 1000 level or higher. She will face Swiatek in the quarter-finals after defeating fellow American Madison Keys 6-2 7-5 in their round of 16 clash at Dubai.
