Which Teams Are Qualified For FIBA 2023?




The qualifying process for FIBA World Cup 2023 begins in November 2021 and will consist of six tournament windows over 15 months. National sides will play home and away games in each of the four regions (Africa, Americas, Asia/Oceania and Europe) to earn a spot in the global tournament.


FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers will feature 80 national teams, and the top-two teams from each region will advance to the finals. The winner will claim the coveted World Cup title.


Team USA:

The February 2023 USA Men's World Cup Qualifying Team features 12 players that have previous USA Basketball experience, including Deonte Burton, Will Davis II, Abdul Gaddy, Langston Galloway, Treveon Graham, Dusty Hannahs, Nate Hinton, Jay Huff, Xavier Moon, Elijah Pemberton and Reggie Perry. The team was ranked sixth in the world at the end of Window 3 and is coming off an impressive 6-0 win streak.


Team Canada:

The defending world champions enter the second round with an impressive 6-0 record.
